He's got you covered!

I called one of my childhood friends on Thanksgiving Day; we started chatting about our childhood days and were on the phone for over an hour! Does that happen to anyone else or is it just the two of us? Well, we talked about how we used to imagine what the angels where doing in our town, and wondered how many times God smiled over us. People couldn’t figure us out, they thought we were odd because we were mostly preoccupied with wanting to please God and to be right with Him. We wondered why God chose to reveal Himself to us at such an early age – she was eight and I was seven, when we committed our lives to Jesus. We both laughed as we realized that if He had not, we would have ended up in a mental institution or been behind bars by now. Today, we are who we’ve always longed to be, but little did we know that the answers to the prayers we prayed as children will result in a journey so long, a battle so fierce and a transformation so costly yet we will not give up who we are today in Christ for all the dollars in America. We are still a ‘work in progress’ but we are confident that He who began this good work in our lives, before the foundations of the earth, will complete what He started because He has a reputation for never abandoning His projects!

Life is a journey and you were designed to arrive safely at your destination.
Life is a race and you were designed to reach the finish line and get the crown.
Life is a fixed fight and you are the predetermined winner!

God loves you so much that He tattooed you in the palms of His hands as a guarantee of His promise to never leave nor forsake you (Isaiah 49:15-16) therefore go about this day, knowing that your heavenly Father is got you covered. Fear not!
